Took so long for the food. I hope it's not a common occurrence, but after we were sat and ordered, a whole family was... sat, ordered, given their food, paid and left before we received our food. We were a party of 4, they were a party of 5, with kids.Our food was correct, and tasted fine, though dry, but came with warnings that the plates were much to hot to touch.I don't know what our server was doing while our food cooked in the heat lamps.read more

Stopped here for a quick dinner while staying at nearby hotel. Good prices, good food, prompt service. Chips, salsa,... Fajita bowl, burger, fries, Chicken quesadilla, taco salad. All prepared as ordered. Definitely will be an option next time I visit Monroe. (TJM Badger 100)read more

This restaurant is amazing! I haven't found an authentic Mexican restaurant that deserves a 5 star rating in... years!The service was prompt, the staff was incredibly friendly, the restaurant was clean, and above all the food was absolutely delicious. We were only on vacation here in Wisconsin for 5 days, and we went to Luna Maya 3 times. It was that good! I was raised on a cattle farm that raised beef. And I'm therefore very picky about my meat. I tried the steak fajita and was not disappointed! The texture was perfect and the flavor was amazing. My sister got a chicken burrito. I tasted hers and was shocked that it was just as delicious as mine. I'm not sure what kind of they put in that cheese sauce, but I could take a bath in that sauce! Next time I think I'll ask for that sauce instead of salsa to dip my chips in, and then ask for a vat of it to go! For once someone made a cheese sauce that tastes like actual melted cheese and not like it came from a powder or a can!Of the 8 of us at the table, not one of us had a single complaint about the food.I highly recommend eating at Luna Maya if you are even remotely close to the area. You won't be disappointed!read more

Did not appreciate the owner harassing and mocking my disabled wife!We came with a group of 12 to eat at Luna Maya in... Monroe. The staff came in the dining hall with a powered vacuum and it startled my wife’s service dog. He let out one bark and got back on duty. The owner immediately came and demanded a license which doesn’t exist and is illegal to request according to ADA law. My wife attempted to hand a ADA info card to the owner and he refused it. Later she went to the restroom and the owner and staff pointed and laughed and mocked in Spanish about my wife and her service dog. Then after paying for our meal, the owner called us over to look at a Google search on dogs in restaurants. My wife attempted to hand him an ADA info card but he refused again and continued to harass.We will not be back! The owner is rude and ignorant.read more

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the country I have been to. My wife was also blown away by the food quality,... taste, and quantity. The barbeque chicken in the burritos is unbelievable, the flavor is fabulous and the steak tacos are amazing also. The staff here is very nice and helpful if you have questions. Very tasty! We enjoyed Nathan's Chicago Dogs and Pulled Pork Sandwiches and of course hand dipped ice cream. Nice... environment with indoor and outdoor seating. Handicapped accessable parking, restaurant and restrooms. Good family place!read more

Good food at a decent price, very good margarita. First taste of the salsa was not impressive but stirred it up and was... much better.Had chicken Chimichangas one of my staples when eating Mexican food, had good flavor and was done well. Waiter seemed a bit rude / unfriendly but oh well he still got a 20% tipread more

We drove down from Platteville to take my best friend from Cody, Wyoming to new location of Luna Maya on Sunday.... Excellent service. I ordered speciality drink of Bahama Mama. It was smooth & tasty tropical punch. Our meal arrived fast & hot. Huge portions & excellent meals.read more

More then exceeded expectations!Came during lunch hour the parking lot was full, but they still gave us immediate... seating and our food came hot and delicious! They My wife and I both got burritos mine had steak in it and it was very tasty. They have a variety menu so if your kids want American food they have that. Example my daughter got corn dog. My wife and daughter got fried ice cream and polished it off! 🤣I highly recommend this place. Ps the prices are very good for going out to eat in the area.read more
